La batteria della PSPGo non sarà rimovibile!

Come si era già notato alla sua presentazione, la PSPGo è priva dello sportellino per rimuovere la batteria.
Si è espresso al riguardo John Koller spiegando che la batteria della prossima console portatile Sony non sarà rimovibile. Tale decisione è stata presa per far fronte alla pirateria mondiale e, il presidente della casa nipponica, spiega che con PSP3000 sono già stati fatti passi da gigante bloccando a livello software l'utilizzo di una batteria pandora (usata attualmente per piratare le PSP1000/2000) e per questo motivo la casa produttrice del Sol Levante ha deciso di continuare con questa politica.
Però c'è anche da chiedersi: Se la nuova console si dovesse bloccare, dovremmo aspettare che la batteria si scarichi per poterla riutilizzare? O peggio se si dovesse rompere la batteria e la console non fosse più in garanzia, dovremmo acquistarne una nuova o si potrà sostiturie solo la batteria?

PSPGo!: informazioni sul firmware di partenza e primo unboxing

Il sito Eurogamer.net ci informa su alcune particolarità che caratterizzeranno la nuova PSPGo.
Sulla console portatile, al momento dell'uscita, dovrebbe essere installato il firmware 5.70.
Vi saranno differenze e novità soprattutto sotto il menu a tendina "Impostazioni", mentre il resto della XMB dovrebbe essere pressochè identica a quella attuale.
La PSPGo, come ormai è noto, sarà dotata di un hard disk di 16gb accessibile collegando la console ad un PC tramite il cavo usb incluso nella confezione di vendita. Ovviamente a causa del file system FAT32 non sarà possibile trasferire file singoli più pesanti di 4gb.

• L'aggiornamento di rete è stato sostituito da Aggiornamento di Sistema
• Le opzioni Video non hanno ovviamente le impostazioni legate all'UMD
• Nelle impostazioni di sistema sono presenti alcune nuove opzioni:
- Data di nascita
- Opzioni per la chiusura del display: si potrà scegliere tra Standard (che mostrerà l'orologio già visto in alcune immagini) e Sleep Mode
- Opzione per formattare la memoria interna
• In "Risparmio Energetico" non è più presente l'opzione legata alla retroilluminazione
• Nuova opzione legata all'attivazione del Bluetooth

Data di uscita per GTA: Chinatown Wars

Rockstar Games annuncia la data di uscita per il suo prossimo titolo già sviluppato per NDS e ora atteso per PSP.
GTA Chinatown Wars sarà disponibile sugli scaffali e sul PlayStation Store a partire dal prossimo 20 Ottobre (2009).

Chiuso il Dark-Alex Forum

Nella home del sito dark-alex.org viene comunicato a tutti i lettori la chiusura del forum di Dark_Alex.
Il noto hacker spagnolo del mondo delle console, in particolare della PSP, dà un arrivederci facendo capire che non si occuperà più delle console (almeno per un pò).
Chissà se col tempo lo vedremo tornare in scena, per ora possiamo solo aspettare sperando in un suo prossimo ritorno.

Within the following announcement, we announce the closure of Dark-AleX.org forum, after one year of working, more than 50,000 users, more than
170,000 messages, and more than 15,000 threads. With those statistics, that have gone generally within more than 450 messages, 40 threads and 130
new users per day, we are more than just satisfied about the results and about what we have reached.

There are many reasons. The forum, by itself, has been a challenge. A challenge that, without any doubt, has exceeded all of our expectatives, and
a challenge that now, after all that we have been through, we find ourselves happy and proud of having gone this far. However, its, professionally
speaking, a moment for evolving and taking ourselves a little time for relax and so we can study whats next.

Rumor: PSP 4000 in cantiere?

Stando a ciò che riporta il sito Engadget, Sony sarebbe intenzionata a realizzare un aggiornamento della PSP standart che dovrebbe andare a sostituire l'attuale PSP 3000.
Si avrebbe quindi una PSP 4000 con lettore UMD in modo da mantenere in vita questa estensione di videogiochi che non verranno più utilizzati dalla PSPGo prevista per il 1° Ottobre 2009.

Ovviamente si tratta di un rumor e nulla è stato ancora conframato da casa Sony. Si tratterà di una notizia-fake?

Sara battezzato LocoRoco: Midnight Carnival ed è atteso sugli scaffali del Sol Levante per questo inverno (2009).

Nuovi colori per le PSP3000!

Durante il GCom 09, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) ha annunciato tre nuovi colori per le PSP3000 europee.
In particolare verranno vendute le nuove Turquoise Green (verde), Blossom Pink (rosa) e Lilac Purple (lilla).
Queste due nuove colorazioni arriveranno sugli scaffali quest'autunno (2009) sia singolarmente che in bundle (cioè accoppiate con un videogioco).

Le Turquois Green saranno abbinate a Little Big Planet, le Lilac Purple al videogioco di Hannah Montana per PSP (che avevamo già visto QUI)
